Why is it that schools can have an African American Student Association, an Indian Subcontinent Student Association, as Asian Student Association, but if anyone tried to created a Caucasian Student Association or a European American Student Association, it’s fucking racist? They’re all racist. You can pretend that the Asian Student Association is open to any race that’s from Asia, or that the African American Student Association is open to any race that’s from Africa, but they are all still divided along racial - as well as ethnic and national - lines. Any group that excludes or includes people based on their race is racist. Just because the other groups are minority groups doesn’t make them right, or any less racist. What if I want to celebrate my French/Anglo-Saxon/Germanic heritage? Oh, wait. I’m white, therefore to do so would be racist.
