Clearly you don’t understand that we will always get the least amount of money because we are not minorities, our parents are actually working, we aren’t in foster care, and we aren’t on welfare. Because our white parents decided to stay in America and get decent paying jobs and keep their kids and not break the law and go to jail and not sit on their asses doing nothing, we will get less money for college.
The thing that sucks is that kids like me are struggling to pay for college, especially with the new tuition increase. I get got $2,000 this semester in loans. That may be a lot of money to someone not going to school. But for me? That money is gone in a flash and my parents will be paying the rest of the money out of their pockets because I can’t find a job in this economy. And that sucks. But it sucks more to hear idiots complain about white people getting everything and living the easy life when in reality that is not the case.
What makes me even MORE angry is that these people also complain about white people being racist. Um, HELLO?! What the fuck are you then? Seems to me like you are being a prejudice little ass over there. You are doing the same thing you are accusing us of doing.

We had a Black Out! at Occupy Philadelphia. Why?
Saturday, two sisters were called Niggers by two of the volunteers at Occupy Philadelphia at the cell-phone charging stations. They were also told to go back to Africa, and that each white man should own a slave. When the sista’s called security, security asked them to leave the premises because they thought they were apart of the UHURU movement. Even if they were a part of that movement, they should not have been asked to leave without any mention of their verbal and spiritual abuse.
So a small collective formed a drummer’s circle and started a rally, only to be met with on-lookers who didn’t understand why there was a Pan-African flag at an “American” event. We were called racist. People kept coming to us to tell us that all of us are people and that race is behind us!
Bullshit.
When we wanted to address the people at the people’s assembly, we had to beg to get a spot on the program. They kept asking us if we were going to be violent. We eventually told the gate-keepers that we were going to be given the mic, or we were going to take the mic. We eventually got our spot.
As the sister was talking about her experience, there were some members in support - but many of the people were asking us to hurry up and finish, one guy using signals to get us to hurry up.
We spoke out about RACISM IN THE 99 percent.
We spoke out about how nobody was taking about the racist foundation of corporate greed.
How do we talk about classim without taking about racism?

Why is it that schools can have an African American Student Association, an Indian Subcontinent Student Association, as Asian Student Association, but if anyone tried to created a Caucasian Student Association or a European American Student Association, it’s fucking racist? I hate when I’m told that saying the “N” word is not appropriate for a white person to say. I am white and I don’t see a problem with it, unless it’s used in a verbally threatening way.
I am also gay. I do not find it a problem calling something “gay.” Nor do I find it wrong to say “faggot”, unless it’s used in a verbally threatening way.
Besides these words are slang… they shouldn’t really mean anything and if you let it then you have a very difficult time understanding the way people say certain words.
People just like drama, and most can’t back down. There always has to be an issue. I’m pretty sure we’re all supposed to be equal, right? (even though i know we aren’t, but still)

I don’t fully agree with this. As a white person, I wasn’t brought up to think that ‘white is right’, but our household was pretty much free of racism, I know not every household is.
I was thinking this just the other day, I don’t think of people as a colour, I prefer to take people as they are. I do however have a problem with racism, I find it’s just very ugly and dangerous.
I think if anything this statement could be perceived as racist. White is a colour just like any other. It comes with privilege, but just as with any privilege, those without it are hurt by it. It’s up to those who have it to recognise it and challenge the damaging behaviours.
As a person with white privilege I challenge racism, but as a trans person I face adversity that cis people don’t, and that includes POC.
