I stopped in a Disney Store to look for Tiana stuff.
Nothing.
They have those animated dolls where an animator designed a kid version of the princesses.
All of them but Tiana (and they’re running low on Mulan as well.)
I break down and ask where the Tiana at.
“We sold out. People really like Tiana, we’re out of most Tiana products actually.”
Don’t tell me there isn’t a demand for Princesses of color. Don’t even fucking dare.
Oh and before anyone asks I ain’t on the South or West Side tyvm. In the Loop.

Submission from perfectdisarray: I took 2 gifs and put them together. 1 of Meg floating around, and the other was the recent Belle/Nigel mashup. I couldn’t stop laughing while tweaking each thing in its creation process.
As Hercules is his favorite movie, I’m sure my bf will both love and hate me for what I’ve done to this character.

I wanted to try my hand at designing Simba and Mufasa as humans, but I pretty much ended up ripping off broadway!Simba for the first two.
Either way, this is just a first attempt. e_e I’m not really satisfied with it at all (like, in terms of clothing, I really need to figure out where I want to pull from), so I might try again later.
Can we just take a moment and look at this? This came up on my dash the other day and I think Disney really needs to have a gay/lesbian/bi/transgendered character.
